Level Up Character Builder Update November

Last month we updated you on the official character builder and provided an estimated timeline.

Our plan was to provide a static example of a full character by the end of November. We are still on track to do that, but in this update we want to show some of the bits we’ve been working on. Remember this is all a work-in-progress!

Above you can see the top of the character sheet, with the basic character information—class, heritage, ability scores, all that stuff. Each element on the sheet will of course link to its entry on A5E.tools, so you’ll have access to all your character’s info with just a click.

You can see that in the spellcasting entry shown below. Note that this piece is still being ‘skinned’ to look pretty, but the image should give you a sense of what it will look like and how each spell lets you click through to its details.

A lot of the sheet at present looks like that—the data is there, we’re just making it look a bit prettier before we show it off. For example, the skills section below contains your skill proficiencies, specialties, passive scores, and other weapon, armor, and tool proficiencies.

Anyway—that’s today’s update. At the end of the month we will have that full (static) character sheet to show you!
