Mellanie Black

Mellanie Black is a copywriter by day, and narrative designer by night. She’s also a tiefling Light cleric and half-elf Fiendlock on alternating Mondays. When she isn’t preoccupied with the above, she spends her time devising a special place in The Nine Hells for TTRPG gatekeepers, eradicating bioessentialism from every possible aspect of her gaming, and finding ways to delete bisexual erasure from the code of the universe. Rich Lescouflair

Rich is a long-time tabletop gamer turned RPG designer, writer, and graphic artist. His work includes design for Wizards of the Coast and Green Ronin, writing and graphic design for several D&D Adventurers League titles, and is a founding member of the Dungeon Masters Guild Adepts. He is co-owner of Alligator Alley Entertainment, in which he’s creator and lead designer of Esper Genesis, the 5th Edition powered sci-fi RPG.

Morrigan Robbins

Morrigan Robbins is a TTRPG game designer and creative writer. They are best known for their work on Mythic Odysseys of Theros and Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden. They have previously worked at Wizards of the Coast as a Lore Librarian for D&D and worked on the Worldbuilding Team for Magic: The Gathering before that. Robyn Nix

Robyn Nix has been playing D&D since she was 8 years old, begging her brothers to run her character (often a wizard or magic-user) through rigorous dungeons. Since 2016 she has been running 5E games both in her home for friends and family, as well as online with the VTT Fantasy Grounds. As a Dungeon Master she loves to put her players through rigorous encounters that involve not only monsters, but also traps, environmental hazards, puzzles to solve, and much more. Robyn lives in Antioch, Illinois with her husband and three sons aged 13, 8, and 2, who play a rogue, paladin, druid, and dice-roller respectively.

He has written for several critically acclaimed collaborative TTRPG projects for 5e including Unbreakable, Uncaged, Vast Kaviya, and Eyes Unclouded. He is thrilled to join the Level Up team as they work towards the next evolution of the game.

Thiago Rosa

Thiago Rosa is a Brazilian writer and game designer. He started DMing at 9 and had his first work published at 14. His work is featured in magazines such as Dragão Brasil, Rolepunkers, NOM, Trailseeker and EN5ider, both in English and in Portuguese. He co-authored Karyu Densetsu, a Brazilian game about seinen action manga, with Nina Bichara. He was part of the teams behind Empire's Reign, Part-Time Gods 2nd Edition, Steamscapes: Asia and more. When Rosa is not behind a DM screen, he listens to punk rock, reads Marvel comics, watches anime and dives headfirst into the ocean of obscure foreign indie RPG.

Andrew Engelbrite is a 29-year old lifelong dork with a physical handicap and over a decade of DM experience living in North Dallas Texas. After painting miniatures to pay his way through college for a business degree he started a small creative team called Loot The Boss and began creating D&D 5e books and videos. Now years later he’s got an electrum best seller on DrivethruRPG, has been a regular content creator for EN World on EN5ider, and has become a full-time TTRPG content writer.

In an attempt to focus most of their life on RPGs, Savannah Broadway is a freelance writer and editor in the industry, as well as a member of the professional roleplaying group the Order of the Amber Die and all-around nerd with too many (never too many) weekend games. A former Paizo intern, Savannah has since gone on to write for the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game as well as several third party publishers, such as Rite Publishing, Legendary Games, and Kobold Press.

Paul Hughes

Paul Hughes reverse engineers and reassembles D&D rules at blogofholding.com. He's the author of the 5e Monster Manual on a Business Card and the Random Dungeon Generator as a Dungeon Map, and the editor of the Gygax Foundation's "Cheers, Gary". He believes that any rule can be improved by running it through a simulator 100,000 times.

Morrus is the owner of EN World and EN Publishing, creator of the ENnies, creator of the What's OLD is NEW (WOIN) and Simply6 game systems, and co-host of the weekly Morrus' Unofficial Tabletop RPG Talk podcast. He has been a game publisher and RPG community administrator for over 20 years, and has been reporting on D&D news for two decades. He also is on a Twitter. This is all his fault.

Josh Gentry

Josh Gentry (@joshgntry) was first introduced to TTRPGs at a sleepover party when he was 11, and has been hooked ever since! 19 years later, Josh is an aspiring minister and game designer. He served in the Peace Corps in 2013 and recently graduated from Emory University Candler School of Theology with his Master of Divinity degree. He is seeking ordination to become a Unitarian Universalist minister. Josh doesn't push his religion onto others and he is exceptionally open-minded, yet he views writing and advocacy (especially queer advocacy and immigration advocacy) to be part of his ministry. His writing credits include articles for EN5ider, contributions to the Masterclass Codex, and a handful of self-published articles. He would love to do TTRPG writing and design full-time!

Yvonne Hsiao

Yvonne Hsiao (@SenHHS) is a Taiwanese writer and TTRPG freelancer who lived nearly fifteen years abroad in Singapore, China, and Canada before moving back home. Part of her TTRPG writing focuses on incorporating or adapting Chinese myths and cultures. She is the co-writer of a self-published adventure named The Land of Pan-gu. In terms of freelancing, she has written for [redacted] on projects such as [redacted] and [redacted] (plus more, to be revealed in due time), will be writing [redacted] for [redacted], and is also involved in Realmwarp Media’s Atlantis Divided project. Cloning, time travel, or just very effective time management may have been involved for her to be able to join the Level Up: Advanced Fifth Edition team.
